Once the wood was cut thinner it was then cut into strips to be glued.

The blade wasn't long enough to saw the wood in the first pass. The board was warped creating other challenges.

The wood was so hard it over worked the saw and blew the fuse and smoked up the garage.

Next step was to saw the wood in half with a Table Saw.  the wood was so hard that it caused the wood to burn working so hard.

The Goal of the Ping Paddle Designs in time for Art Night.  This weekend we were given a couple pieces of wood from The Joinery Furniture Store.  I look forward to taking the wood into school to add to handles of the design that a student in Mrs Speer’s class.  Look to the photos for better understanding of the process.
