The trouble started with the camera showed an error message and would not take a photo. I so wanted to get some good photos for our last painting with light class yet stuck with “technical difficulties.”
With no chance to take photos were just cranked up some Reggie Music and the kids ran around playing with lighted balls, hula hoops, jump ropes and flashlights. Turns out that can be pretty relaxing and fun.
Mr Colvin a seriously semi professional photography happened down to the gym and was able to trouble shoot the camera issue using Google. Soon the camera was up and running. Thank you Mr. Colvin. Thanks to him we have the following photos to remember today. Many of the students are really getting a handle on the process and this makes me think they will use them sometime in the future in their lives out side of school.
Hope that soon we can use the monitor to tether to the camera for instant feedback for the students. We all know how performance is improved with feedback and in something as abstract as light painting feedback is needed. Soon I hope to be able to take a photo and have the students see the results right away. This is what gets me looking forward to tomorrow.
